Hello

I am a Licensed Psychotherapist providing individual and couples therapy for adults via video telehealth. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process that can enrich people's lives, improve interpersonal relationships, and help to understand and change patterns and behaviors. I have experience working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse caused by a range of life transitions and stressors including relationship conflict, parenthood, grief, trauma, compulsions, low self-esteem and sexuality issues.

How To Start

The first step is for me to understand what brings you to treatment and for you to determine if I am a good fit for your needs. I offer an active presence to my patients because growth in therapy emerges from authentic dialogue. If we decide to move forward, we meet once a week for 45 minutes in a space that we hold for you. My clients find that growth is accelerated by exploring old patterns in new ways through increased awareness and supports available in the present moment. This leads to expanding healthy choices by forming a new relationship to thoughts, feelings and life perspectives.

How I Work

My approach is grounded in the experiential-humanistic approach of Gestalt therapy, perspectives and technique informed by my experience practicing and supervising in mental health agencies, Master's Degree education from New York University, as Faculty at Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy, Four Year Post-Graduate institute training as a Certified Gestalt Therapist, EFT Couple Therapy Training, and as an Adjunct Professor in the Brooklyn College Mental Health Counseling M.A. Program.
